Presenting ‘Master of the Nebulous Reach’, which marks the beginning of a new trilogy, in continuation of the space ambient albums.
However, where those three albums were all done with keys only, I wanted to do something vastly different, and make three albums using guitars only.
Taking the foundations of my influences from Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and other Berlin School artists, I wanted to combine it with the dream and ethereal pop of Cocteau Twins and Slowdive, and a slab of shoegaze like My Bloody Valentine, but darker.
Covered in effects, endless delays and reverbs and synth pedals, everything you hear is layers and layers of guitars, no keys, no bass, no vocals, purely instrumental music.
To match the rather different approach to this album, I have once again worked with Francesco Gemelli to produce a rather different but striking album cover.
It’s available now digitally at my Bandcamp.
Soon on streaming and later on physical in partnership with I, Voidhanger Records
