The Cold and Distant Oracle is a unique release amongst Midnight Odyssey's vast catalogue.

The idea was to have multiple versions of the same song. The first track is a dark and brooding black metal track. Track two is a neoclassical version. Tracks 3 and 4 are remixes by Death Comes Crawling, one darker, one lighter, and the last track is all of the previous tracks playing together in a chaotic and spiralling mix.
